2022  FOOTBALL

PLAYER-PARENT TEAM HANDBOOK
2022 SUMMER FOOTBALL TEAM CAMP

JUNE 12 - 14 (Sunday - Tuesday)
Black Hills State University

As part of our continued commitment to building a successful football program here at LVHS we are attending the Black Hills State Football Team Camp.  This is our 5th consecutive year in attending a summer team camp.  In the past this full contact camp has helped us to improve ourselves both individually and as a TEAM.  We will continue to use this opportunity to build our program and further our commitment to bringing out the best in each other.

This is a high school camp that offers both a Varsity and JV level of competition.  The format of the camp is divided into skill/position development sessions (BHSU Staff), Team Practice sessions, 7 on 7 passing games, Offensive-Defensive Line Games and evening Team competitions vs other schools.

Requirements for attending camp are that all players must have been actively participating in the off-season football weight program and attend all the pre-camp practice sessions (WHSAA requirement). Incoming Freshmen will be allowed to participate at the appropriate levels if all preparation requirements are met (lifting & practices).
SEE COACH SCOTT FOR SIGN UP

The school district covers the costs of transportation to and from the camp.  The camp registration fee of $175 covers three days of instruction, competition, rooms and all meals.  Players usually bring some spending money for snacks (we will stop at Walmart in Spearfish for this) and evening Pizza sold by the camp.
